Costa Catholic Academy's curriculum includes not only daily Religion instruction for each student, but a community- wide comprehensive faith formation program that offers and invites our parents, students, teachers, parishioners, the opportunity to live their Catholic faith through the prayer traditions of the church.

Costa offers the following Faith-forming prayer traditions of the Catholic church:

Daily Rosary

Daily Rosary is said from 7:30am-7:50am every morning in our beautiful Costa Chapel (as seen above). We especially invite all to attend Pack-the-Chapel Tuesdays!  (same time) Since last year we have prayed over 2000 rosaries. Rosary is also prayed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

School-Wide Masses

School-Wide Masses are attended by our PreK-8th grade students, teachers, parents and friends through out the year. Please see Mass Schedule for Mass dates and times.   Masses are held in the Costa Auditorium/Chapel and at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and our celebrants are Monsignor Ernie Pizzamiglio and Fr. William Miller, with Deacon Rodriguez.  The Graduation Mass in May of each year is celebrated at one of our three parishes - St. Patrick, Corpus Christi or Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic churches.

Benediction and Adoration

Benediction and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held two times a year in our Costa Chapel by our schools deacon, Deacon Robert Rodriguez, from Corpus Christi Parish.

Novena Prayer

On December 3rd we begin the Novena to Our Lady of Guadelupe.  Students pray the Novena everyday through Dec. 11th and then are invited to attend the special Mass on December 12th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Galesburg.  Mass is at 6:30pm and will include a procession of last years First Communion students who will offer a rose to Our Lady as they process in.
